For Justice: an ode to Nader et al

Superficial differences won't matter
when the constitution is in tatters
with corporate McCain or Obama
intent on perpetuating this trauma

the right is of course always right
it's an imperialistic plight
a ruse to quell criticism as blight

the enervate left grub in delight
the imperium carrion without contrite
the prerogative is theirs as any Sybarite

no debate readily hands defeat
to challengers of corruption so replete
as do apathy, cynicism, denial, fetter
cannot, do not, will not promote better

pursue the potentials of American dreams
with civic honor not just lucrative schemes
the US constitution grants ample provision
eminent corporate sociopaths deem derision

look to independence, third party representation
scare tactics promote only community deprivation
stay vigilant, demand the 800 billions returned
and demand all privileges, all votes, be earned
